Janusz Z. Puzniak, M.A., J.D.,

Janusz Puzniak received his Master's degree in Art History from Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland, and his Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, in Columbia, Missouri, USA.  He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor degree from the School of Law, at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

While in law school, Janusz served on the Editorial Board of the Missouri Law Review and published in this journal as well.  In 1999 he won the American Judges Association Annual National Writing Competition with an article on expert evidence.  In the 1990’s, Janusz was also a Fulbright scholar in Political Science at the University of Missouri-Columbia.  After becoming a member of the Missouri Bar, he worked for the State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services as Legal Specialist and Chief of the Office of Technical Compliance.

Janusz has practised in the United States and Canada in the areas of business law, real estate law (residential and commercial), estate administration, employment law, and Canadian and US immigration law.  In Canada, he worked in downtown Toronto law firms specializing in business, commercial, and immigration law. Janusz speaks English and Polish.  He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Missouri Bar Association, and the New York Bar Association.
